I want to wish all my friends on this forum the very best this Holiday Season.

I know all of you are going through many and varied problems at this time. Some of you are still fighting the caregiving battle and some, like me, are having a new set of problems in learning how to deal with life after caregiving.

Holidays are difficult times for those of us who have lost our LO's. But, we just have to remember that they would not want us to miss out on life by doing nothing but sitting and crying.

Melissa, I think it is such a thoughtful thing for you to do by sharing your mother's jewelry and other personal possessions with the other ladies at the NH. I'm sure it will hurt to part with them, but the ladies will get much enjoyment from them. You are such a special person to do this.

Eleanor, May, Mikey and Kathie sorry you are having more problems with your LO's right now. I pray for you strength and patience.

To any new members or lurkers reading this, I want to welcome you to the forum. I lost my husband in Nov, but I am coming back to help any of you that I can. I know how hard caregiving is and if there is anything I can do to help you, please just let me know.

Thinking of all of you, with love, Margaret

It was very kind of you to reach out to your forum family in wishing us a happy Holiday Season. Having so recently lost Henry, yet you are still reaching out to others. You are quite a lady my friend.

Thanks to both of you for your kind words. I do consider both of you my very good friends. We have been through the wars together and that draws up close.

Mikey, I hope your wife has some good days over the holidays.

Janie, I am so glad your Bill got the good news from the scan. Now you can enjoy the holidays without all the worry.

I am doing all right, nothing great, but hanging in there.

Have a safe and happy holiday.
Love, YOUR FRIEND, Margaret

Even before I "knew who you were" - I was so impressed with the way you signed your posts >>>> "Your friend, Margaret" - or - "Your new friend". It is so very obvious to me NOW what a big heart you have and what a sweet person you are. (Except, of course, when the "mean Mama" has to take up for the chillens.) big grin

Margaret, I DO consider you a friend; a very good friend. You and I have had some very similar "family dynamics" and I appreciate being able to talk to you about them.

Thank you, Margaret, for being my friend. smile
