Good Morning to all my wonderful friends and family on this board.

I just want all of you to know that I'm gonna be "MIA" for awhile. Have some personal issues that I desperately need to deal with.

If you don't see me posting for a bit, not to worry. Just be assured that I am T.C.B. smile

I love you all.

HI, Eleanor!!! smile NO, I cannot get along without your weather report!!!!!!! big grin I expect it each and every time you post. And, if you DON'T post it??? I figure something's wrong!!

Yeah, I remember those days of my youth when we'd go play in the rain. I let my two sons do the same when they were little boys. We called it: let's go take a "RAIN WALK." They'd put on their raincoats and take an umbrella (if it was chilly) and I'd tell them to go out and walk in the rain. Many times I'd go with them.

When it was hot, well heck, I just let them go out barefoot and walk in the rain. I was the only Mommy in the neighborhood who allowed their kids to do that. Was I "that" strange? You're only a kid once.

Yes, Eleanor, it is sad about the little girl getting abducted. How awful. My heart aches for HER parents and also the parents of the fellow who did it. So much pain there.

CHARLOTTE: Hot, humid, 98 degrees today. More hot weather scheduled for tomorrow.

Hi Everyone:

Hi Janie , glad you are back and feeling better.
I Hope you got along without my Weather Report. much cooler today 78F it reached 95F yesterday. We just had a nice steady rain for half an hour. I could hear the flowers and Grass saying " Thank You" We have had very little rain. I went outside to get get something and got soaked, I really enjoyed that.

Do you remember when you were young and you would put your Bathing suit on and run around with joy. Now thy have splash pools here, the same thing. Oh the Joys of Childhood,Do you remember the games you used to play? It is so sad now because children do not play outside anymore "fear of abduction" , such a sad world . Rest in peace the 5 year old girl in California.

Take Care everyone Jim sleeping on the Futon. "Never far away" JUst got up looking out the window.

Take Care Eleanor

Miss Janie,

It makes me so happy to know you are feeling a little better today. I'm glad you are seeing someone you like that is important. Of course you were missed you silly gurl! I can relate to the last few years being difficult ones. That does not mean that with each new day you don't have a chance to do someting nice for yourself that day. Stop and smell the roses. smile Sound familiar? We like you no matter what.

Good Morning, everybody!! Janie is feeling much better today (why am I talking about myself in the third person.)

I hope somebody here missed me, just a little bit. wink If you're interested, I've been into some counseling for myself. I found a very good therapist and she's TRYING, anyway, to set my mind straight on a few things. Things are looking very hopeful.

The last few years have been very difficult ones for me and I found I was trying to take care of everything and everyONE, but myself. They definitely took their toll, but - by the Grace of God - and most definitely some wonderfully true friends on this forum, I feel very hopeful I will come out on the other side, bright 'n shiny, like a new penny!! smile

THANK YOU to those of you who know me, and what I'm going through and like me anyway.

I love you guys!

Ms Janie, we cannot , possibly have a slumber party without you.We need your presence to keep the attention away from us.You do have away of doing things that draw alot of attn. I am canciling my reservations , I was all set to fly to SC and then we would travel to the party together. Well, Melissa, I will not have to make the decision about Barry Manilow.I will take a rain check on the party. We wll plan a big bash when our Ms Janie is ready. wink
