Hello,

I've been browsing http://www.alzinfo.org for some time now, and have found it to be very helpful and credible.

alzinfo.org contains most of the information needed regarding the disease..

hope everyone finds it to be helpful,as it was to me.

cheers,

how very sad when we have those who choose the high road when others are in need of friendship and understanding of others.Shame on them.Snow Lynee, you stand tall and allow no one to drive you away. You show this person what you are made of as we all know and admire. You are still very fiesty and that is wonderful

Hi Lynne..

Who is this George character and who is he to make a diagnosis about you---Pish on him...to be blunt about it.

I belong to another write in site--sponsored by the ADRC at Washington University in St.Louis, home of Dr. Morris ..though he doesn't write in. We do have an excellent group of folks who know their stuff too...plus a volunteer resident AD expert from Iowa University in Iowa City, Iowa. We do get write in info now and them from Dr. Dudy Tanzi too, author of "Decoding Darkness"

This site just celebrated it's 10th Anniversary in May

Lynne...your information and experience would be appreciated on the Alzheimer List.

The site is fairly new and integrated with the Fisher Center Foundation which serves as the nexus for the scientific laboratories of the Fisher Center at Rockefeller University

Home of Alzheimer’s expert and research pioneer Barry Reisberg, M.D

You suggest that thi site has Most of the information needed regarding the disease--what other information would you like to have ?

One little thing I don't understand--though I haven't pursued it on that site--they are showing a woman with a D.V.M. degree as an "expert" answering questions---

What is a DVM other than a doctor of vetinary medicine?

I'm a member of that sight.Since I have AD,they really don't want me there,esp.George.He thinks I don't have AD,scoffs at what I say,so why bother???Besides I don't live in florida,I'm a Texan........It's people like them that keep us with AD from (most)from joining in & trying to help...........
