On Wed.I'm having a complete Neurological work up done.....again after 9 yrs.I'm just doing too well with AD.It could be the meds are really doing a great job OR I don't have AD or maybe I have MCI (mild Cognative Impairment.)Won't know anything til Dec sometime I'm sure.

Well I'm back after not being able to get on here.Today I tried again & BINGO.......
Hubby Larry had 5 level back surgery June 23rd.He's doing great.Aug.4th he had 5 hammertoes in his left foot fixed,the big toe being fused.He's again doing great.But the stress has got to me at times.My primary ordered a chill pill for me but it only made me worse.I will call my Neuro..........

Need to update i guess.Forgot,lol.
I have Vascular Dementia...........Still dementia no matter how you see it......
I was put back on Razadyne this month as I was driving both of us nuts asking the same questions over & over.
Sometimes I wonder if it was better NOT to know whats going on....

Supposedly I now have Vascular dementia,VaD.Here it is 7 months later & I believe I have both AD & VaD.I see my Neuro.next month...........

The Dr who did the testing told me to forget about the dx of AD.Later I may get it as MCI is a precurser to AD.So I have a longer time of doing well now.......

I looked at pictures of people to remember at intervals,math(i hated that)spelling,stories to remember,a machine i would flick with my index finger on each hand,i got quite stressed toward the end.They were testing me for MCI (mild Cognative Impairment.i'm just now getting rested,lol.

I'm curious. What tests are they doing?

Good on your doctor for doing this. One of my biggest frustrations has been lack of a definitive diagnosis for our loved one.
