Hi Everyone--I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I live in Kentucky; I have an 84 year old mother who lives in Illinois. She is living alone now but I recognize that is going to have to change soon. I came here for advice and support on making these transitions as I have never gone through this before. I would love to hear from others who know what I am going through and could offer me some insights. I've posted my story over on Residential Options. Thanks!

Welcome, Katerra! I posted a comment to your other thread. It sounds like your mom is needing help with making good decisions for herself. She may or may not be able to do so, so please make an appointment with her doc to discuss the changes you are seeing in her behavior. Smile

Hi Katerra and welcome,

Here is an article from the main page of ElderCare Online. Maybe it can help a little:

The main page is accessed by clicking on the upper left side of any forum page where it says ElderCare Online in purple.
