Good Morning!

I just joined finding this forum via Google for "Elder Care." I've recently and am currently dealing with my elderly parents who I have just moved into an assisted living community. I'm looking for a forum to share my experiences, learn from others farther along in the journey, and open to advice, comments, and insights.

We believe my Dad, 86, is mid stage Alzheimer's and my Mom, 84, not far behind but more cognizant.

If I'm not in the right forum, please direct me to a good resource. I appreciate your attention and reading this post.

Good to meet you, Craig. Glad you found your way here. Members here undertake eldercare in many ways and at many times in life. Assisted Living facilities are wonderful for our elders, but require a lot of oversight and management from the *outside* to ensure good service and care.

Many blessings to you and your sibs for stepping up and making sure your parents receive the care that they need and can no longer provide for themselves!
