Not really in direct relation to me but....

We were out the other day picking up the cake I had ordered for my son's birthday. I told the lady at the counter my name, Karilee, and grandma looked at me and said "I remember that name from my family". I told her yes, it was her oldest granddaughter which is me. She was excited as was I that she had made a connection.

Later that evening we were talking and I told her how happy I was that she had remembered that my name was someone from her family. I said my name again and she said "yes, Karilee Anne"!!!!!

We had not ever spoken my middle name during our earlier conversations. You could sure see how proud she was of that little baby girl I used to be.

Just wanted to share my reminder to take the little wins and celebrate!!!
