Yesterday, after my delivery of groceries and a quick visit, it was time for me to go and get out of the CG de jour 's way. I said good bye and she says "don't go". Ouch.H was actually home for once for an evening together, I had to go.

I asked her if she wanted me to come back and she was very enthusiastic with the affirmative. I told her that I had to leave so that I could come back another time. She started to laugh, slapped my hand and said "You tricked me, you have more of your father in you than either of your brothers. Go home and give H a kiss from me."

Now I don't know if that is a good thing or not but she thought it was very funny. The joke might be on ME.

She's a trickster. Makes you wonder about how paranoid we can be.
