Hi Lilly, welcome.
how to find the new caregiver's board:

Click Elder Care Forum at the top of the page.

Go down, 12th item, click
choose NEW and you can introduce yourself or ask a question, start a conversation.

Glad you found us!

Hi, Lilly, and welcome to ECO. Sorry about the chat room. It has been deactivated. Always best to post your Q's in the regular forum anyway though. Since we are all active CGs it is unlikely that the best person to help you will be in the chat room when you are. Plus all the discussion of a problem is lost. The Private Message (PM) feature works very well though, if you want to contact someone in particular and and not have it recorded in public. I hope you will go to the New Care Givers Meeting Room and tell us a bit about your situation.

Again, Welcome to ECO.

Hi, I am not sure just how to get into the chatroom here. Could someone please tell me how? I really need this support and I am also willing to give whatever support I can provide. This sounds like a great site for caregivers. I hope I can be as beneficial to this site as it is to me.

Memorial Day weekend has officially began for me. No school till Wed. I want to get outside and start my garden. I need to get pots and plants and start all my herbs. Besides cleaning the house I am NOT starting any big do overs in here this weekend. I'll go to the parade here on SUnday and the next town's on Monday with my girlfriend. Just need some quiet and no kid time as they have been off the wall. Too much rain and not enough outside time for them. Have a great Memorial Day weekend all!

Good morning, I am out of town. The connection here is not so hot this is the third time I have tried to post. Should be the charm. H and I have come up to the mountains for his niece's graduation. We will have today to see people and places, attend the ceremony tomorrow, and head back home. I didn't know I'l be able to come with him for sure until Weds night. Spent that nite with Mom, got her hair done a day early, dashed home, did my chores, took a shower and off we went, before anything could stop us.

The change of scenery is great, but it is not my idea of getting some rest.

Happy and safe Memorial Day to all.

Its been a nice, busy week for me! But looks like we'll have rain later, and through the weekend. At least I got all I needed to do outside, done!
