It is still "hot as fire" here.

I just had my dearest niece who lives in NJ visit us for ten days--it was heaven!

She loves to cook, is obsessive about keeping the kitchen and house neat & clean,
we have always been great "friends" (I'm only 11 years older)so she is great company for me,
and she "WANTED" to come and give me some help! Thank you God! I almost felt like I was on vacation!

Mama was always her favorite grandmother.
We were afraid she wouldn't recognise her but we are pretty sure she did and mama was thrilled to see and hear her voice.
Mama and her 40 yr old granddaughter even danced in the sprinklers together to cool off. CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!

Well, now she's gone home, I have a sink full of dirty dishes already and newspapers scattered around the living room,
and laundry to do, etc. BUT my freezer is FULL with restaurant quality food we can just heat up and enjoy!!!!

Anyone else getting a break this summer?

Sorry BG, she's a delicate cycle/ hang to dry/ or "dry clean only" kind of gal!

She just finished taking a Computer Accounting course. She took a break, used up frequent flyer miles and MUST now find a job "Pronto",or her DH will freak. NY/NJ living is a high cost!

PS:I can't help you either. HATE IRONING!!!!

Summer break? Whats that? Im thinkin that was something I used to enjoy many moons ago soooo....
