This is the first day of the new year. Instead of a "resolution" list, begin a new list and add one blessing to it each day. When we meet here again next year, you should have 365 blessings that showed you the way, uplifted you, or gave value to your life.

Blessing #1: I have 16 new friends that I didn't have on the first day of 2003.

Now I am not suggesting we all post a blessing every day (that would become overwhelming in short order) but I do think it is possible to find a blessing every day, even if we have to 'borrow' someone else's. I know it is very uplifting to seek the positive.

Today, there are lots of signs of spring, the birds at the feeder are in their mating plumage, and I have a moment to sit with a good cup of coffee and watch them. I am going to enjoy it emmensely.

Many of you might not know that I had a caregiver for Don while I was at work.
My blessing is that she's never stopped "caring" for my family. Some of us have had a hard week, and today out of the blue the wonderful Denise showed up with a complete home-made supper for all of us!

This is a wonderful idea - keeping track of a blessing a day, and finding SOMEthing that made you smile, even if only a little one!

Thank you, honey. I remember (when you first came) and I had to 'translate' for you. Sometimes, it was so funny! Big Grin But, you have proven yourself to be a woman of honor and a wonderful caregiver. I take my hat off to you, Diana!!!! Big Grin
