Folks have been very helpful to me on this forum, and I just wanted to take the time to say that. I also find myself, in spare moments here and there, turning to the forum as a means of solace for myself. Sorry I can't add anything to others' dilemmas, but it is helpful to know there are others with difficult situations and how you all are coping.

Lantern, it is wonderful that ECO is helping you. It helps me everyday. Believe me, you can contribute. When a member is having a hard time, just send them a hug, let them know you heard them. Sometimes that can make all the difference.

While I was caring for my mom, the members of this forum helped me through more difficult times than I can remember - sometimes via direct information, advice and brainstorming; other times, by reading situations that happened to others and how THEY handled them; at still other times, just reaching out and touching others who were walking the same walk as I was saved my sanity... Some days when I was hovering at the brink of a major pity-party & melt-down, reading the issues with which others were dealing helped me to put my own struggles into perspective...

No one here knows everything, but among the entire membership, ECO embodies a HUGE amount of knowledge, experience and wisdom - and we're ALWAYS lookin' for MORE!!
