My place is way out of town, but to go for a follow up appointment after a tooth extraction, I passed through an area of a military base. We don't have any major oriental community here, but there are plenty of people (war brides, guest soldiers, people who have served in the East and want a market) who live in this area now.

I saw an oriental grocery store I did not know existed. H likes Kimshi(don't know why.) Bought some. Lots of dried mushrooms available that I often add to soups or stews pretty cheap. And Japanese cookies.

This is serious. A while back, a member posted about stoney mats to walk away some problems. (Was that BG) They had a 4' nobby mat to walk on. I got it. I love it. Now infront of baby Hal (the putor), Feels really good.

Tee, Hee, H got home and wanted to try my new mat. I told him the directions said that a first you should put a light blanket over it to reduce pain. Ahuhuhu, tough man sees me wobbling back and forth, snorts, walks up 1/2 way(2') hops off and says something about having a screwdriver he could stick in his eye too. I guess I won't have to share.

I want one!

Unfortunately, I don't think my husband will let me take on another big project until we have installed that 15 cases of bamboo flooring that's been stacked against the wall in the hallway for over four months. (Long story LOL)

I sooooo want to install those new pebble tiles in my shower. (I soooo want to remodel that bathroom altogether!!!)

My good today was that I did two miles on the treadmill and didn't fall off the darned thing. (Yes, it's happened a time or two. LOL) AND as of this morning I'm down 9 lbs and my husband is down 17 lbs. Hurrah for us!
