my grandmother has been doing pretty good, good enough that once shes in bed i can leave for a few hours. well after going out tonight i came back and found my grandmas keys on the table. no biggie for most people, however while grandma was hospitalized the drs decided it was no longer safe for grandma to drive, but i dont think she remembers that. now i know she is going to ask me about the keys in the morning, i hung them up in hopes that she will just forget. ugh, my aunt was suppose to talk to her about this a few days ago. i know when they tell her it isnt gonna be pretty

i had the car so i know she didnt go for a ride while i was gone however i woke up in the morning and my keys were on her desk. after finding her keys on the table i made sure to put mine in my purse and zip it up. grandma has never gone through any of my things nor did she to my mom or her brothers and sister. there is somthing just not right about grandma noone else sees it i mean shes fine when she has company or the nurse and pt are here its just wierd

i know she is going to be very upset when she is told she cant drive anymore they did tell her while she was in the hospital but she doesnt seem to remember that

Does this mean Grandma went for a ride while you were gone? Wow, I hope not.

May even take you taking her to the doctor, and him telling grandma himself.

I'm sure it'll be a big blow to her self esteem when she does find out. You loose a lot of independence when you can no longer drive.
