I am so pissed. I am trying to go thru my mothers stacks of mail and it is just one blood sucking charity after another asking her for money. She made the mistake of giving and now they all want a peice of her. And after she gives they send another letter saying thanks but send us more. They don't even have the decency to wait a month or two. They sell her name and so more blood suckers want some. What is really disgusting is that they target the elderly hoping they will be too stupid to say no. If I could have some of these stupid charities in my sights I would gladly shoot them all. Sure part of it is my fault I should have been paying more attention to what my mother was doing. She has stacks of mail in the spare room all of them asking for money. One was from a local charity I called them today and they told me there was no way to take her off the list. That they farm the begging out and it would be too much work. Bastards. And the "religious" charities. "Send us 20, 30, 100, 200 dollars to help us do
Gods work." "god wants you to help us" "God has asked me to ask you for......." Blood suckers. My mother is 78 years old. She can't afford to send money to the whole world yet that is what they want. And you know full well they wouldn't be targetting her if she wasn't 78 years old. No wonder why I hate people.

PL youve gotta be kidding me they sent moccasins?! Now thats a first! But seriously that is not a Indian Tribe it is one using the name of "Native American" to profit. Most of the tribes here in Cali only send catalogs from their respective groups with an envelope in it for donation.
I can remember one year my Foster sister told me she was doing one of those "save the children" charities..get this I was taking a vacation in Guatemala so I told her I would stop by and give them some things she wanted the family to have , well I get to the approximate address take a look around...well lets just say they woulda had to live on the side of a mountain Roll Eyes No such address. I happened to have a person familiar with the area so there was no mistake about it STC is bogus too. Gotta wonder where all that money goes to with all the people that contribute to them! Confused

Oh yeah and the ones who send cash are the worst. Hey if you can send a dollar or even a couple of nickels to 2 million people you can't need the money too bad.
I just opened one from some Native American charity and it had a pair or slippers in it. Funny thing they said how the children and made these to sell. Turn them over they had "made in china" well I guess they didn't lie. Children had most likely made them.

The ones that really get me are ones that send "something" I guess to make you feel guilty if you don't send something in return. I have more mailing lables than I can ever use in my lifetime. My mom got mailing lables from her house address for two years after she left there.
I choose about ten charities that I feel are worthy and on my birthday I send them each a little something. The rest of the year I don't send anybody anything. I don't even open thoes lables anymore. Just burn them.

My husband loves to send back junk mail in envelopes if they send him one. He thinks it is fun. I just don't take the time to do that much.

sure sounds nice but 90% of these charities do not send prepaid envelopes. I did some research for a lot of the charities. Do you realize that the CEO of the Alzheimers Association makes over 457,000. my mother makes 12,000 yet they ask and ask and ask. If she gives they ask for more. I put a stamp on one of their letters and sent it back saying mother has AD please stop bothering her. Will they stop? I doubt it.
S many of the charities are multiple groups. Listing 5 or 6 also know as's yet they each hit up old people separately never mentioning that they are the same group.
