Mom just came up to me and said, "I'm so depressed." This coming on the heels of a weekend of mostly mass confusion, and tv watching. I told her we are going to the doctor tomorrow, to make sure everything is ok. I've already told her this a dozen times. Weekends are TOUGH. She was supposed to meet new caregiver last week, who was looking forward to getting mom out more, but the day she was to come, mom stayed in bed all day. I'm fighting a cold and therefore,my patience level is LOW, so I came here just to vent. She's on the phone with her cousin right now, and seems to be kind of tracking. Maybe I can talk her into going to the dog park. Just trying to get through the evening without snapping. Thanks for listening!
Kathleen

Thanks Ladies!
Took Mom to Barnes and Noble, we had coffee and browsed around a bit til she wore out. Fed her dinner, went out to run a few errands, when I got back, my girlfriend, who happens to be mom's cg during the day stopped by to see how we were doing. God Bless Her! After she left, I took a long hot bath, surrounded by candles. All is quiet on the homefront. I'm glad I kept my mouth shut! Thanks for your encouragement. Least said, soonest mended really works!
Let's hope the phase of the moon and its effects will be long gone by tomorroe!
Night-Nights!

Kathleen, I feel ya! When I am feeling crummy, EVERYTHING anyone around me does irritates me, from Mom to the kids to my husband to the cats and dogs. NOTHING suits me! I usually isolate myself to save all of them - not from my virus, but from ME!!! Eek

I hope you feel better soon! Smile

Hi Kathleen, Just remember we are in the waning moon, and the back side of an eclipse. This doesn't just affect her, but you and me as well. Definately have things checked out. Good luck fighting off the cold. When my head is clogged and breathing challenged, my patience is in short supply too. Any ones would be.
Try not to snap, as I've learned from experience, snapping just sets things back, and doesn't even feel good.
Hang in there honey, and vent here all you like.
Big hug , Bobcat
