well i did get my nite girl..to help at bedtime..but she had an emergency in another state and quit.. well now i have 2 other girls to split the week..they are close friends..which is turning into a night mare..they wear way too much perfume..i had to tell them to stop..they said its the hand snitizer..ya that and the perfume..lol..well its enough to make you sick..i cough the whole time there here..so far they have stopped the perfume but not the sanitizer.. anyway i want bedtime to go as normal..with me helping..one of them doesnt..she wants to do it her own way..she cant even put a daiper on in bed..it takes forever and my mother ends up wetting all over the place before she gets the diaper on..ugh!! it never ends.. i have been firm with these two..they do it my way or hit the road.. well just needed to unload..other wise things arent too bad.. ..."I wonder how much of our lives are spent worrying about things that really don't matter." Forever Rainbows, when my aunt was in her wheel chair I would pull it up to a regular living room chair, Bring put the pillows on the lounge chair to make her compfortable.wHEN SHE WOULD WANT TO SIT UP SIDE WAY ON HER BED, i WOULD PLACE THE WHEEL CHAIR CLOSE TO HER AND THE BED AND PUT PILLOWS UNDER HER LEGS AND THE SMALL SPACE BETWEEN THE BED A WHEEL CHAIR.I also had special booties to keep her feet warm as they were so cold because of poor circulation

Forever Rainbows, the purple indicates poor circulation.Positively nothing that is tight on the legs. Her legs have to be elevated to allow the blood to flow and not over work the heart. Her legs should be elevated as high as her heart.I would pillows undr my aunts legs when she was in sitting position. When in the hospital bed I would raise the foot of the bed.Her legs may feel cold so they need to be kept covered with a blanket.Do they swell when she has them down. How long before they turn puple when she puts her legs down. For the longest time my aunts would change from good to bad in a few seconds and when propped they went back to their normal color in a few seconds. This causes the heart to work over time to distribute her blood. Also she could have other complications with her legs if not prooped with this discoloring

FR, it wouldn't be outta line, since you have asked her to tone it down and still she reeks, to call the agency and ask them to politely have a talk with her. If it bothers you and your mom, I'd be willin' to bet it bothers other people too! I'm all for smellin' good, but one person's pleasure is another person's poison...
