Guess what guys??? I came home to a FOR SALE sign on my house. The realtor called me inbetween jobs to ask if I'd come home so he can look inside! I said no way I'm working and made an apt. for him to come back Friday morning. Mother's son...formerly my brother...never called with the decency to let me know but that's just like him. Still have not heard from him since mom's funeral mid April. My neighbor made me stuffed cabbage and sat with me while I cried and ate. I got to get downstairs as my son should be home in a few min. and doesn't know yet and I need to be there for him too now. Got to dry my tears and be a trooper

Ya know, Mar - you really do have the right attitude. WHen people are bound and determined to do the wrong thing, there's nothing you can do to stop them... Well I talked today to the lady's house I'm renting and found out it has a fireplace!!!! OK. not right now in this weather but now I can't wait for the cold. No problem bringing the rabbit or even getting myself a kitten down the road. Dan will do that I'm sure. I'm doing a lot better today. It's always the first day shock, even when expected. One thing I try to teach all my classes, especially the aftercare older kids is restpect and love. Don't be greedy and just treat people how you would want to be treated. If it gets rhrough to a few of them, and I know it has by having some of my old pre=k kids come back and be camp aids for me in the summer. no pay...just giving back and they are good kids. We just have to keep trying and not let the scum of the earth like my brother get us down. I feel sorry for his 2 girls that will miss out on what life is all about....it's not the almighty dollar.

Me I was hopin that there would be a change of heart...I guess I was holdin on to a fantasy...I try to see the good in people far too often even when I know and have seen things in my lifetime...somewhere, somehow, someday, I wish someone would flip a switch and people would go back to the way it was years ago...no greed, compassion for others, just generally good folks & good times...all I see right now is greed and selfishness in the world... we are on a destructive path and unless someone makes it cool again to be kind we are going to see alot more of this kind of behavior

What can I add, BG said most of it that is printable (and some that was borderline). I'ld be so tempted to make the house inhospitable for buyers. Water marks on the walls, from "leakage" roof or pipes. Talk of termites in the floors.
