Ok, we have gone through the motions, spoke to the DA's office, they sent us to the Sheriff Investigator. We just had a meeting with the APS, which surpised me somewhat. The lady was kind and compassonate, she said she was going to do a thorough investigation.....the story stops right there. She told us to hammer on the SD, the SD told us to hammer on the APS. The DA said they would not get involved until there was a thorough investigation.

I realize that it takes time to get things investigated. Though it only took the bank two weeks to call up and say they wanted a warrant for the CG's arrest, immediately. This has been a month ago, still nothing has happened. We have decided that they are not going to do anything to this person, unless my H sends me up to the Sheriff's Dept.

Maybe I should visit on one of my rabid dog days, In the past, when I used to have PMS, and I would have a rabid dog day, I could get a lot accomplished by letting people know exactly how I felt about situations. I usually spoke in a loud, aggitated tone of voice. Also, by letting them know that I was not leaving until something was done, or put in to motion, it always seemed that I could get someone out of a catatonic state and up off thier butts, long enough to listen to me!! I guess the time has come, for me to get in such a mood, make a visit to the SD, and then to the DA, who has seemingly ignored me.

We have concrete evidence on this woman. I am loosing my patience, as should everyone.

This person made sure to dispose of the will, vehicle titles, and an insurance policy. Who knows what else???? This is extremely upsetting to us, I have had it with the beuraucrats (sp).

I hope everyone here, pays attention to those who are coming into their LO's homes, if you have a tiny, nagging intution, don't even let it fester, replace them immediately. Because if it looks like a skunk, smells like a skunk, it most definitely is a SKUNK, one of the worst types !!!!!!!!!!!!

I never did hear how this spring's calving went.
Glad you fond those papers. Dad's ducks were pretty well in a row, but I still find cash in books. Mom will suddenly remember a passage from this or that and ask me to find that book and read it to her. About half the time I find a 10 or a 20. it hasn't amounted to a whole lot, and I'll never know which of them put it there. She always seems surprised. But she asked for it so something triggered a memory. I put it in a safe place and buy her spring flowers with it. Something not in the budget.

I wish the NCG did need a place to live, he would be welcome with open arms.

We are having a family meeting Monday, and are going through all finances and doing cut backs.

My h and I were in the attic this evening, I climbed up inside, there was a plastic file box right in my face to the side, I opened it, and the first thing I pulled out was the envelope containing the titles to 3 vehicles. Eek, WOW, I thought they had surely been shredded by the ECG!! We also stumbled up other important papers and lots of uneasy feelings were calmed.
Things are looking up for my mil. And our stress!!!!

Yayyy!!!

One more thing, the Night CG, is the one who helped us bust this person. He knows so much, and is going to be the integral part of the investigation. This is part of the reason we have been holding off on the agency, because he is also employed by them....trying to keep things calm for right now, but their time is coming!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know, this person more than likely destroyed all evidence. My mil, does not remember seeing a bank statement for a very long time. We believe this person had her drugged, there was a valium bottle in the medicine cabinet with Tylenol in it.

We also found a bottle of Viagra in my fil's dresser. This is not something he would have EVER considered purchasing, nor going to the DR. and having the nerve to ask for it. I think the Viagra was a way to get his system out of whack, to get his mind out of kelter. So that the ECG could work the charms. This is soooo ugly!

My h is mentally exhausted and I has so much to deal with trying to get his mother's finances in order, the will, things that are going on in "our" lives...it is just so much! I do think though that I am ultimately as always, going to have to be the BI&%$ here to get it done.

Tomorrow, I am going to call the Sheriff investigator and give him one more chance to get this thing taken care of!

The bank wanted to talk to the investigator, to have him get the warrant in to motion, their head office is out of state.

I am so sick of this, right now, I want to vomit. If that would only make this go away!!!!

OH YES Mae!!!

This agency is bonded, and in time they will be paying back every penny! Also, I believe that since they placed this person, they should be paying back every penny for their monthly fee, that would end up being a 3 year period!!!!!!!!

Right now, we are more concerned with this person being prosecuted! The bank has refunded the account, for every personal appearance this brazen thief made in the facility, and was caught on camera.

Blue git that ole Rabid dog out of her cage an let loose.
Gather all the evidence you have go to the DA's office with folder in hand and dont leave until you have an audience if they are going to try and sweep this under the rug cause they feel this is a small insignificant case you better do a little researching before you go as well cases on Elder Abuse Financial Abuse to be more specific it is alive and well and going on throughout this country and it needs a voice If they dont listen to you tell them straight out you will be on the steps for all to hear how they think its ok to allow a licensed Care giver to steal from their patients who can ill afford healthcare and your feelin like a little call to all the media outlets is in order while your at it... Lets see how long it takes to file formal charges then. Mad

I don't understand why the bank told YOU that they wanted a warrant. The bank was harmed in the frauf - they can press the charges.

Call the DA (an elected official, right?) and tell them you are sick and tired of the bullshit. APS and the SD are playing the distraction game with you. Tell the DA that if THEY do not lean on those agencies to complete their investigations, that you will call the attorney general's office of your state. The l;onger this crap takes, the more likely that this woman will slip off the hook and get away. The Sheriff had PLENTY enough evidence for the DA to take to a grand jury.

Do NOT let up on this!!

I am not sure I understand what you are talking about here... Are you saying that she destroyed evidence?
