I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum or not, but since I have shared so much anger here over this topic, I feel it only fitting to share the changes that have taken place in our family the last few days.
I have been so hurt and felt so alone in the care of my fil who has passed now for 7 months, and in the day to day care of my mil. I have repeatedly asked my H brother and his wife to pitch in, anywhere anytime, each time I was met with deaf ears.
Last week, H went balistic on both of them, he went into all the hurt and pain of the past months, the begging and pleading that have been done with no hint of realizing that H and I cannot take care of this situation any longer without help.
All duties have been split, My H family has taken over 3 huge jobs for me, it was done today. We sat and had a long talk about how and when these things are handled, it is now set up, and out of my hands.
I hate it that he had to pull the plug, point fingers, drag up the past, but dang! It got the job done and I have so much off of my shoulders now! I could not be more appreciative and thankful!
Just wanted to share with everyone that this family has come through and we are trying to get on the same page!!!! I could not feel more relief!!!!!!!!!!
