I just had to open my mouth this morning and mention to Mom that youngest has practice. Ok so I was talking outloud going over the schedule for today and she overheard. Damn nothing wrong with her hearing.

Now for the past 1.5 hr if she's not worrying about "who will stay with me while you are gone", it's 1001(yes that's a thousand & one) questions about when will the power come back on. GRRRR driving me a little crazy and I haven't had my coffee this morning.

Top things off that I've heard since last nite that she never said it was ok to change the lite fixtures. Ok one light hasn't worked since 1999 & when #2 & 3 went out blowing the fuse I knew something was majorly wrong. The electrician said we were VERY lucky there wasn't a fire for how fried the wires were.

All Mom is worried about is her precious money and how she shouldn't have to pay for this or any other repairs/updates since she won't be here forever. Give me a break. It's her Damn house!! I care for her free of charge, take care of every aspect of her life and pay for the groceries. And now I should pay for home repairs that's she's neglected for yrs. GEEZ..........

Icing on the cake is my SIL-she is very upset that no one bothered to tell them(bro family) how bad things really were. If ya would call/come to visit more than just holidays maybe you would have a clue. Besides there's the trust factor since dear ole bro stole lots of money from Mom a few yrs back.

AHHH feelin better already-thanks for letting me vent. Good thing is I charged the laptop battery last nite.

I believe SIL had no clue-it was how she reacted when she heard the news. I've never seen someone "shake" like that expcept when they got news of death.

I pay most of my bills online-LUV IT too. Good thought for Mom's, I can always find the time for the puter and sure beats writing checks & mailing them.

Thanks BG!!!!!

That's a great idea momof with the email. shocking news I have no email address for them and wouldn't have cell #'s if I didn't ask. No answer machine at home either. Can you say they don't WANT to be reached.

Thanks for your input!

May have to do that with some other things too cause I get so tired of explaining bills to her.

Now as for Bro and SIL I would remind them they lost the priviledge when they stole from their own mom...simple as that If they really want to know come on down but they will be checked on the way out for things that dont belong to them

It's funny you would say that. I feel that way any time bro is here. Clarification-bro did stealing, SIL had no clue until we told her.

Tell her your paying for it take it out of her account simple as that. See Im a creative checkbook keeper when it comes to MIL I round up everything and at the end of the month I zero the balance so theres hidden money she doesnt know about that I use for emergencies...if the money is needed then I go to my "trusty" second register and subtract from there. Brilliant andsince she doesnt know how to go on the puter or do automated phone calls...nones the wiser.
