Okay, this has NOTHING to do with caregiving/alzheimers/dementia ect. HOWEVER I AM PISSSSEEEEDDDD THE F*CK OFF RIGHT NOW. One of my gottdamn cats pissed in my bed Mad And i am thinking it was my picky ass persian cuz i had to keep her in a cage when i left the house for work, when i lived in florida, cuz she REFUSED to pee where the other cats peed. Now that i am in ohio and the other cat has her own box in the basement i haven't had a problem. Only the persian sleeps with me and i dont let the other cat use 'HER' litter box.HOWEVER, lastnight we had a bad storm/power outtage so i let both cats sleep with me and LO-N-BEHOLD....i see a lil circle where SOMEONE has pissed in my bed. I AM SOOOOO MAD!! And especially cuz the smell went through my padding and a lil smell is faintly on my brand new mattress!!! i just know it was the picky ass persian trying to mark her sent since the other cat slept there lastnight...her way of saying "this is my eff'ing bed bitch!!" uggghhhh ANYBODY HAVE A MAGICAL SOLUTION for cat urine??? *besides killing my cats*?? Only thing that worries me is the smell wasnt THAT strong, like it was mostly water and my precious baby died last year from kidney failure and right before she died she peed on my bed (i later found out she had lost all bladder control). STILL DONT MAKE ME ANY HAPPIER RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY SINCE I'M PMS'ING...ITS FRIDAY NIGHT & ALL I WANT TO DO IS DRINK A BEER!! And of course the granny keeps getting mad that i am washing my sheets this late so i told her I STARTED MY PERIOD ON THEM NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww sweetie Im so sorry...those storms can be murder on the lil kitties (and you) but I find they are just like kids when something dramatic happens..they tend to pee when scared. I know that doesnt do much for you and your bed but you might want to make there carriers a sanctuary for them and put them in there when storms hit...or gran and her outbursts...these babys are just like humans they react just like we do to stress.... I do love my babies more than life but dammmitttt she had the whole dang floor to do that on and she pics my damn bed!! That is like a slap in the face and i still cant be sure which one did it but i know if it happens again both their ass's gonna be living life in the basement!! Mad I got the sheets all washed and i cant smell anything but you know how good THEIR noses are. I swear tah gawd....betweent his family drama....granny's alzheimer fits and now this???? ugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My bed is my prized possession. Satin sheets, satin comforter and brand new! Glad it didn't soak the mattress though..just a faint smell and its pillow top so i just poured straight up lavander liquid fabric softner on it and will worry bout this tommorrow. I'm gonna just stick to fish after these two pass on. Fish and hermit crabs!!!

hI, I have 2 cats and have dealt with the cat urinating where they are not suppose to.I keep a gallon of enzyme cleaner on hand all the time.It removes the stain and the odor.Make sure you absorb most of the wet before applying the enzyme.I have used white vinegar, baking soda, not as good.Another thing to remember, when they first wet, apply cornstarch to absorn before you attemp to clean.
