That is good news! I felt bad that happened and wondered if the credit card company might be willing to credit you but it sounds like Apple really pulled through. Good for them! :-)

That... is a truly incredible story. I am so sorry you went through that, and so glad it had a happy ending, and Apple is DEFINITELY going high on my list of brands to buy! Yay! Big Grin

Update on IPod, when I called Apple to check on order and told them I had not got it yet they started a investavation, anyway after I talk to my mom I call Apple back and told them I recieved it and so they cancel investacation. Well last night I got a call from Apple asking if I recieved my IPod, I told them that I had and what had happen. And to my suprise they felt bad and offered to send a new one with the engraving and everything that was on the first one and I would have it before ChristmasSmile I could not beleive it, and plus they are going to call me on the day that it is to be delivered to make sure I get it!!!! Needless to say Apple now has a very loyal customer. Thank you all for your support and kind words of advice Big Grin

I can remember my son's school uniform coming and my mom signed for it. She opened it and since it didn't fit threw it out. I had though my son had it and found out too late what she did. From that day on till she was bedridden I had packages sent to a friends house and got a post office box so she didn't take my mail. Sorry this had to happen to you

Gee that sounds an awful lot like my MIL before she was correctly diagnosed....
I just read your first posts and I have to say I would seriously think about getting your mom a full psych evaluation.
This may be life long traits of hers but I have a feeling theres a whole lot more to your moms behaviors than meets the eye. Wink
I am sorry about what happened with your gift but I can tell you this is also something my MIL would have done.
Since her diagnosis and correct drug protocol MIL is actually the sweetest lil thing you could meet which was not always so in the 20 something years I have known her.

I never know with her, if I thought about it everytime something she does happens, is it to make my life harder. I know if one of my kids get sick and I spend alot of time with them, she will do something to turn the attention to her, a fall or she will make herself sicker, it try not to think to hard about it.

She did sign for it, my husband must have been out back and did't hear the bell. It's gone, and yes i tore her room and every other in the house a part. Boy I need to clean, or win the lottery so I can get a maid and a new Ipod Eek

Oh man... how did THAT happen? Didn't she have to sign for it? Can you call the garbage folks and find it... maybe? You COULD get lucky and find she hid it under her bed...

Sorry!!!
