Yep, they have Power of attorney .. and they drink and make excuses.
they drag their feet- cause the crisis, and then act suprised when i'm upset and the whole situation turns to s__t.

I am sorry that you are facing this. I take it that the "bros" have POA (Power of Attorney), Is this the house where you grew up?

It is not uncommon that assets (homes included) have to be sold to come up with the funds to care for a parent. This is a very difficult time for all of you.
