Hi everyone,

I am new. i take care of my 92 year old father, but I do have help during the day. he is not that hard to take care of. I also take care of my 37 year old autistic daughter-she also goes to work at a sheltered workshop. I live with both of them. It really is not too bad-but most of the time I feel isolated and i do not have much of a social life. The people i do know think I am crazy for doing what I do-they say I should put them both away. they really are not that bad. I wish i knew some people like me.

Well, it's not their call, is it? Hopefully if they ever need like your loved ones, their family will take their advice!

You aren't crazy for doing this, (caring for your LOs) This place has kept quit a few of us from from losing it all together. We all need hugs, thanks, pats on the back AND the occassional 'reality check'. This is the place.

Thanks you guys, I plan on visiting the sites often-about three times a week-Mondy, Wednesday, and Friday.
