One whole year, the first of all the rest of the years I have left to recount how many years ago it was when my father passed away. Everyone apologized and said they know how especially hard today must have been. Truth is, today was just another day, not any more difficult than yesterday and a lot easier than the first few months. I'm amazed that it's been a whole year. It feels more like a continuation of one long day with much of my focus and attention on his life and his leaving. A lot of time has gone by, that's what today tells me. I'm always, constantly thinking of my father and I'm forever changed by his passing.

It's all so much clearer now how time waits for no one.

Gone from my sight, that is all.

Especially appreciated the photo, another memory burned into my own brain for eternity. In order that someone remembers.
