Following a recent issue, I put this video here. It contains advice about the symptoms that might alert us to problems of abuse. I hope that all of us who trust our LOs to a third party, in our home, their home or a professional facility will take notes.

Sorry about the ad preceding the interview.

You will find there are good and bad in the home health services. You soon learn to be savoy to what is going on.I had two that I had to report and they were fired.
They can talk a good talk to throw you off.
If you feel uncompfortable with a person, trust your instincts.Too many know how to bull shit the baker to get a bun,

Carol, welcome to ECO, and help yourself to anything that helps. So far, my Mom is still private care (mostly) in her own home. Still, more than me, there are others in her home. I am always watching for signs that she is "off". I try to sit in on each CG at least once a week

I haven't a clue how long, how long,,,,. I only hope that for those in AL or NH or SNF. We all know what to watch for, sorta, at least we think so.

If you get a chance, I hope you will tell us more about you and your loved one. We are all learning all the time and appreciate every question. The answer to you Q may help me. Thanks for being here.
