Afew weeks ago Bro got back intouch with a CG that stressed out on Mom and walked away about 2 years ago. She was great when she was here but she really left me hanging when she had enough. He asked her if she would be available in a pinch. Short term and she said she would. I sorta feel like he should have told me before he did this, but I think he might have anticipated a collapse on my part and an interrim measure. Still I knew it had happened before a need arose, and it did today. A CG due in had a major tooth infection. Could not come. Because of Bro's previous concerns, this woman had been alerted, and was glad to come.
I know I sell Bro short at times. But the truth is , he saved my a** making this contact. He really is on Mom's side even if sometimes I don't think he's on mine. Right now, I believe he is on my side too, even if only for Mom's sake. OH WELL, still got to go back tomorrow. But I've got a rest tonight.

OK. But a morsel is what it is. I got home tonight.... True, He doesn't show up in person and say "here I am. I'll handle it , go home, be there for a while." But I have become a bit of a control freak( I am working on that truely I am) He might be a tiny wee bit scared to get between me and Mom. ( I'm working on that.)

I'm glad you are able to get your rest tonight BC. I'm not a big fan of brothers right now but I'm glad your's came through though it would have been nice if he informed you he was going to do it. It's a point in his favor as he is concerned for your mom and really not just dumping it all on you to care for her.
