I have finally figured out the basis of some of the depression I have been dealing with. It is loss--loss of beautiful birds that I loved, loss of my own owned home, loss of my mother that I could never really get close to, loss of physical abilities due to fibro, 3 moves in one year and loss of everything I had to junk to fit us into a small apartment.

So what am I doing about it?

I am fixing up this apartment to suit me as dh says to do what I want (but he usually approves). New curtains up in the bedroom and bedspread picked out. Fabric ready to sew curtains for the living room, slip cover picked out for the couch. All my genealogy data binders were trashed out in a panic, but have a hard copy of the basics. So just got in a new professional genealogy program and will re-enter and begin a family book. Beads--just made out a big order for beads and basic supplies and will internet that the end of August. I love yard sales and will make sure I get to one or two a month.

Already I feel better. Have had several days with no depression.

The key is activity and projects to work on.

God bless you all.
