I am celabrating our 17 Anniversary and 10 of been married to AZ. Every year I counted the "goods" and "bads" and there were a lot of goods to remember, but as year goes by there are no more togethers, no more "goods", even no more "bads". Just AZ. I gave H a huge chocolate cake and a nice lunch but gave up the "tradition" of showing him our photo album and told him about things we did together.

Went to a family reunion last night. H noticed and he said "pretty". It was nice to watch a bunch of teenagers celebrating life. The DJ played the same music my H and liked to dance but as many times before at parties I didn't cried.

March seems to be an anniversary month. My husband and I would have been married 47 years on tues the 18th.
Diana, goes to show us little things like a smile can mean so muchThere is not a day that goes by that I do not say to my hubby how much I miss him.The good bad and inbetween. We were tested in so many ways.We said til death do us part, through sickness and health.I have not found the courage to go to the grave, but Tuesday I will find the courage.
I keep saying if I had one more day, but I would say one more day again and agin.I do not recall the teriible days we had.I remember the good.

"Our" 19th anniversary was March 12.
It was a very very quiet day.
That's the last of the "First __________Day" (meaning a day of celebration, not just every day) without Don by my side.
The other holidays will come and go, and I will join in and celebrate, but that day will ALWAYS be my anniversary.
DianaT, I bet that smile you got will be the gift you remember forever. It cost nothing, but is absolutely priceless.
Thank you so much for sharing your joy.

The people who really understands!

I am grateful for the happy times, for our travels, for his teachings and for his friends that are now my friends and for a life together.I am glad that I met my H and married him. I told him and got a smile.

Dear Diana,
I know that Alzheimers Disease has robbed your husband and left you with someone you never wanted to know.

But, sometimes life gives us one chance at love. That is more than many people ever get.

Roberto cannot enjoy your pictures together. This is sad. But, dear Diana, you can enjoy them and know that you were lucky in love and happy times and travels in those days. Many people do not get that in their lifetime.

I will celebrate with you, for my happy carefree life I had with my husband before AD robbed my mama's mind and she needed me to take care of her day and night.

SALUT!!!!
