I am fairly new to this forum and finally taking some time to read many of the discussions.
My heart goes out to you and the different situations and stages you are in.

My husband was in a terrible auto accident November 30, 2007. Surgeons told him that it was a miracle he survived. He had broke his collar bone, ribs, leg, bruised his lung and heart. My company where I work I can't talk highly enough because they allowed me to hire someone to work full time as I was able to come and go as needed. He was either bed or wheel chair bound so when I would get him down to take a nap I would run off to work for a short time and back home again to help him. His needs were from dressing him, showering, toilet needs - just about everything that we take for granted. I couldn't do enough for him but what makes this story different from what I'm reading is my Love's recoup was in sight. Every day I saw progress being made.

As I'm reading I'm seeing so much strength in each and every one of you.

At the present time my Mom (my little girl) has broken her femur, has heart problems, asthma and many other issues that I'm dealing with. When I read your stories it gives me so much strength and with that I thank you all.

kimicoco, your attitude about just doing what there is that must be done reminds me of my heroine, Mae.

Hi Mae,
As you wrote "I have dealt with so much" I don't feel that way. I just did what I had to do given the situation. My husband Ken is the one that had to deal with so much and I must admit the way he handled it he is my knight in shining armor!!!
I just know that I'm very very blessed and will never forget it.

To make strength stronger."

We all reach out for help and learn to take strength from those who reach back to us.

I know he loves you for all that you did to make each day better for him.
This forum is so filled with ladies of strength and wisdom. Many have it but do not realize until they meet the demands of each day and are able to continue the next day.I have gotten so much from this forum family.I caanot begin to describe my admiration for all who have been and are here now.
You have dealt with so much as has hubby.Bless both of you.
