For months I have watch my dh struggle to get out of his recliner, always refusing my help. Last week we went and bought a good lift chair for him, and now it is so easy for him to get to his feet. He says he is not wore out just getting out of the chair like he was with the old recliner.

And I have taken a step for myself, I now attend a nearby church and Bible study group which really has been a blessing to me. My dh knows that Sunday and Tuesday mornings are mine. He has stated to me that he doesn't know if he has ever been baptized and wants to talk to the minister. When he is ready for it I will make the arrangements for him.

We still get out to breakfast and recently went to a fancy restaurant with my brother and his family for a birthday celebration. This was the first we have been out at night for a long time, and since I can't drive after dark, our nephew drove our car for us. It's good to have family we can rely on.

Things are looking good for now.
