I was dx with carpal tunnel in both hands but my left hand was so much worse,so i had surgery on it last thursday.I pitched a fit as my veins are so bad. They finally got the anesthesiologist in there & got it done.We also made sure I didn't get the wrong type of anesthesia didn't want to come out not knowing anything. We were very explicit.Everything was done as we wanted & I'm a happy camper,lol.........

Snow, I'm also happy to hear about your successful surgery.
I'm curious to know - did you ever hear about or try taking vitamin B6? My Mom told me about it, said it works wonders for a lot of folks with CTS. As always, it doesn't work for everybody, but in itself is harmless and safe, and rather inexpensive. I've used it for a while now, and have been able to keep the symptoms at bay. I know that eventually it probably will quit working, but as long as it does work, I can. Because I don't take as many other meds as some of you, I don't have any information about interactions, but I just thought I'd toss this into the ring.
