Aug.30th 1980 I married my soul mate. In 1986 our lives were even more enhanced by the birth of our son. Fast forward 12 wonderful years to April 1998, my son has just celebrated his 12th birthday with my beloved tasting the smallest spoonfull of cake. 6 days later he was freed from the pain the cancer was causing and while I was holding his hand and telling him it was OK, that we'd be fine he died. Fast forward 8 years to 2006 and even with a lot of road blocks and the bigget obsticles we are hanging in here. I can still, especially at night when I feel all is lost, feel his spirit with me. I wonder with my mom how different things would have been if he did live. I know my brother would never have gotten away with the things he did for one thing but it's useless energy to wonder as this is one of the things I cannot change. I am on my way to Barnes and Noble to get the BeachBoys Pet Sounds CD DVD as my anniversary gift. I got the one love from England last year and the music has helped me though a lot. It comes out today so I'm off to call and make sure it's in before I go. Al Jardine has also put out a book the Slop J B. that I am getting, it's a children's book and plan to use on my Friday's storytime class. Happy Anniv. honey, I miss you.
