quote: I finally feel that at 52 I have matured. We have all learned a lot of valuable lessons from each other. When I joined in 2000 I didn't know how much this place would not only help me with Alzheimer questions but help me also to survive and become the person I am today. For that I thank you all. xoxo
Still mar, I realized my experiencs as a caregiver matured me, gave me self confidence , learned I was not perfect but able to acknowledge my short comings and appreciate my strengths. I was always seeing others for all their strengths and compared my self to them. What I realized that each of us has our strengths and our weakneses. We can enhnace our strengths and work on the weakness. What I learned and gained could have only come about because of my being responsible for my loved ones.If we really search we can see that not all of caregiving was in vain.We gave and we got something in return. We got our selves to a better place.

And, it is YOU, my dear friend who taught me that valuable lesson. I have always looked around for acknowledgement; now I am not looking so much these days. Thank you!
