from a link that BG posted, I found this one that describes the Christmas Wreath service project of the Worcester Wreath Company in Maine.
http://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/ The lump in my throat and the gratitude in my heart are huge at this touching tribute. Knowing that my father's grave has been remembered by these kind people leaves me speechless... "She ain't heavy; she's my mother." Mom got her wings 11/18/2008 |

Thanks for bumping this up, Bren.
It is wonderful that this project is growing every year. Here is a recent article http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/local/local_story_348183032.html * the crystal ball (*) is in the shop>>>> |

I had a few minutes to come here today, instead of one post, and poof.
I saw this was originally posted in 2006. The other night, I saw on the news where they done this here also, and had a service for them. I think its wonderful way to remember our Veterans! |

Wreaths across america is great. I'm saddened to admit I had no prior knowledge until this link.
Then in my small town newspaper appears an article about it AND that the korean war memorial in the area is one of about 270 other sites participating. |
