Sorry to say she passed on March 30, 2006. I haven't been on the Forum in a long time, but I still appreciate all the help the members gave me when I needed it.

Mikey, I have thought of you from time to time and wondered how you were. I appreciate you letting us know, and please accept my condolences on the loss of your wife.
You always came across to me as a man with an open and honest heart, and your wife was fortunate to have such a husband. May life treat you kindly as you begin travelling a new path. My heartfelt condolences Mikey. I do not think we ever met here on the boards but I lost my father receently and stayed to help other caregivers who are in my former shoes.

Oh, Mikey!!! I am so sorry, sweetheart!!  You and she fought the fight together!!! You were a wonderful husband and caregiver. My heart goes out to you, Mikey. Kentucky has one less soul these days, but one MORE soulful and wonderful man. Blessings and hugs, Mikey, and please accept my most sincere condolences. Thank you for coming back here to let us know.
