Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has any info on Sinemet for Parkinson's..? My mother has been on it for about a month now. She seems to be just a touch better physically, but has taken a major step backwards mentally. She was always pretty sharp, but now is slower thinking, forgetfull, and it upsets her. She seems to be confused and very, very tired. Not sleeping well either. Me neither, no sleep here much of the time. I'm getting tired and seem to eat, sleep, dream Parkinson's and trying to fix it...well, that's for another topic someday. Just wonder if anyone has any info on the Sinemet for now. Thanks!

Thank you Mz.Liza, that site is very helpful. Good to know your mom was helped by it as well.

Hi Maggie,

My Mom was on Sinamet for a brief time. Her rigidness decreased & she was able to walk & get around well. The downside of the med for her was hallucinations at nite & napping during the day which caused even less sleep for everyone.

Here's a link to check out:

Good luck & keep us posted
