I am a final year student at the University of Nottingham in England studying Product Design and Manufacture. I am really interested in falls within the elderly and have consequently written a brief for my major project to design a product to benefit those who have fallen over or who are suceptible to falling. I have written a survey which I'd really appreciate anyone who knows someone who has fallen responding to as I'd like to get as many points of view as possible. The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm...SF3wN1a7t0_2bA_3d_3d.

Thanks very much.

Hi,

Thanks very much for all of your responses. I've had a look at them all and have made a few quick visuals of my ideas so far which I have posted on a blog. These can be found at http://elderly-falls.blogspot.com/ I'd be really interested to hear your views on these and see if you think any of them would be helpful. There is a space to leave comments on the blog.

Thanks again

I appreciate that many people within the taregt group may not use a computer however if relatives would fill the survey in on their behalf I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks very much to everyone who has filled it in so far.

This might be a tough one here.
I am at the moment not involved in day to day caregiving, but checked out your survey anyhow.
I'm not really sure if many of the people who do fall will be capable of filling out the first of your questions.
Best of luck, though.
