It blew in and out so fast some of us did not even know what it was. It is very unusual to have a tornado in the mountains..but I guess with strip mining and tree removal in some areas gave it enough flat space to get in. It did a lot of dammage but Thank God we had no deaths. One 80 yr old woman got in her bathtub and that saved her life. There are other stories to tell but I don't know them all yet.

I am just glad it did not get to this part of the town, Acutally I live out of limits in the valley, I have these very large trees all around my house. God is good

Hi Gab, Glad you were untouched by the tornado. We had very high winds Sat. night that knocked out electricity and lots of big trees fell as a result of week long torential rain. We were luck here to only have our shed fold in on itself. The doors were actually lifted out and flung into the cemetery behind our house. I ran for the basement with Boo and called Dan at work and told him I was staying down there till it was over and take care driving home. It was weird being all alone. Come Sunday afternoon once the wind calmed down a bit I went out back and looked over the fence and couldn't even find the shed doors. You are right. The weather has been very weird this year. I hope everyone is OK. I have been kept busy with study for my para pro test on Sat. Need to get certified so I can find a job with benifits come Sept. Love to all

Thanks for letting us know you are ok. It is very rare indeed. Extreme weather seems to be popping up everywhere. Let's hope it was a once in a lifetime thing.
