I couldnt go to sleep last night so while I was resting?, I was thinking about the FAQ section.
I would like to see posts like the one on household products, info on the different types/causes of dementia, The 3 & 7 stage rating on ALZ, helpful terms and acronyms, a first steps guide and helpful web addresses. Then there are the Bath and Driving issues that would be helpful as these are addressed often. Could others add to the list things that they would like to see too? Good point about the things to remove. I was thinking that the FAQ area would be a good place because you could refer back to it as things change. Possably one on keeping the waundering one safe and excape proofing the home Another one might be tricks of the trade or things that have worked for you. How about suggested activities To keep LO busy Remember -Non caregivers who do not walk the walk have plenty of empty talk |

Abbbjcaregiver, you have posted a good response. There are books that give you the emotionally and physical things to ponder but having the knowledge of certain aspects of each day.The very things that have been given.A recipe of things to keep our loved ones safe and free from harming them selves and others. Some one needs to write a book and list the things that need to be removed from the home and list the many ways each delt with the various problems of the daily routine.Things that do not come from a medical journal , but for hands on experience.
My question each night and when I awakened in the morning was"Can I do this another day"? |
