Hmmm where do I start?
First Id like to thank Casey.
Many times I have ranted but in the end if it wasnt for him I would have never found my sanity while caring for my MIL, for that I am eternally grateful to this man for developing a site for care givers.
Casey may the road always come up to meet you.
To my extended family,
what can I say to y'all?
I love you for keeping me smiling when I didnt feel like I had a smile left in me.
You made me a better person as well as a better care giver.
You should all be proud yourselves, some of you may not even think about it but you all have touched a life and changed it for the better each time you contribute here.
You make/made this place what it is, a great resource and safe place for folks that need a hand with this journey when they find themselves stumbling and dont know where to turn.
Should the lights dim our spirit will still stand.
I know a day will come when we will all meet, I may not know your faces but I will know by looking in your eyes its you....
I for one am grateful to each and every one of you for adding to my life and that of my MIL's.
Peace to all
Smile

This place, and the people here, have been just what I need on my "journey with my Mom" too.

Your gratitude says it all. I found a great place!

I, too, would like to add my thanks to all of the support I had during my caregiving with my mom. I wish I had found you during my dad's illness/death. This place as been such a help. Even now that I'm not a CG I still check in with you all and occasionally post. I've cried with you and laughed with you and you've all become important to me. Love ya!

I agree that all has been said(I think) I honestly don't know what I would have done the last few years without this place and the friends I have met here. I know I am going to continue to need you guys as time goes on. Gypsy

Bunnys-grl, You spoke with such passion.Passion I know all to well.I have been apart of this forum for so long.Being a part of this forum family kept me going.I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate all the have come through and are here now.
I continue to learn so much .I may not be caring for anyone but I can never get enough knowledge.Thank god I have been so fortunate to be in the presence of such gracious and caring people.
Rich has made this possible out of the goodness of his heart.Has not been easy for him as the cost for broad band width is very expensive.
So many have enjoyed the benefits of this forum.
So many have gained self confidence in them selves because of their experiences and acknowledged by others on this forum.
We did and did not agree at all times but that is what made each so unique.
I know so many people who have bonded because of their role as caregivers and this site made that possible.
We have always had the best moderators who did what had to be done to make this forum run smooth.
I hope others have the chance to enjoy this forum long into the future.
They say through all negatives comes a positive.I believe such with all my heart.
Just remember, you are the champions.

Oh you two - you always say the nicest things!
I'm pretty sure all of us feel the same way though.
I for one am very grateful that all of you put up with my ranting, raving and whining, and sometimes not very nice posts, and offer so much of yourselves every day, every time I need you. A hug or a slap upside the head, whatever I need, someone is alway here for me.
Thank you my friends.
